Programs

Health and Human Services Assistance Program (HHSAP):
This service provides referrals and assistance to clients in need of health and human services. HHSAP assists limited English proficient (LEP) clients by providing pertinent referral services to Vietnamese immigrants and refugees, thereby connecting them with much needed services.

Parent and Children Makes One Family (PACMOF):
PACMOF is our family strengthening program. The program utilizes counseling and informational workshops to bridge the communication, generational, and cultural gaps between parents and children in order to strengthen family ties. Strengthening the relationsihp between parents and children will assist both parties succeed in mainstream America socially and economically.

Safe Place fo Afternoon Learning (SPAL):
We provide a safe environment for children and youth to study afterschool in this program. In addition to educational and interesting field trip opportunities, skilled staff members provide tutorial assitance to participating youth. Since its establishment in November, SPAL has been able to attract over twenty youths to participate in its afterschool program.

Citizenship for Immigrants and Refugees (CIR):
This program offers assistance to LEP immigrants and refugees to gain American citizenship. CIR provides citizenship as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to individuals who are interested in becoming an U.S. citizen. To overcome the language and cultural barriers encountered by many immigrants and refugees, CIR offers bilingual English/Vietnamese classes. Experienced staff explain, counsel and provide important imformation to LEP immigrants and refugees about the naturalization processes.
